About The Position

Think Zone Learning Center in Irvine is hiring part-time Math Tutors to provide personalized one-on-one math instruction to K–8 students. Tutors help students strengthen their math foundations, understand concepts, develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and build confidence in a positive, engaging learning environment. The center provides the curriculum, materials, and training; lesson planning is not required. Tutors track student progress and build positive relationships with students and families.

The role is designed to fit around school schedules and is listed at 6–12 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours. Tutors are sought for 2–4 shifts per week, with Saturday availability strongly preferred. The program dates are June 2, 2026 through June 5, 2027. The position offers experience and potential career growth to Lead Tutor, Assistant Manager, and Learning Center Manager.

Requirements

• Have a strong foundation in math.
• Communicate clearly and patiently.
• Be responsible and dependable.
• Enjoy helping others learn and motivating younger students.
• Be currently in high school and at least 16 years old, in college, or have a high school diploma.
• Be available to work 2–4 shifts per week; Saturday availability is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but is not required.
• Saturday availability is strongly preferred.
