Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Non-certified candidates must have at least 12 college credits in the relevant subject area and provide transcripts demonstrating subject-matter expertise.
- 1–2 years of experience teaching in the subject area with middle or high school students
Nice To Haves
- Valid New York State Teaching Certification
- preferably in an urban school setting
Responsibilities
- Teach Pre-Calculus and Calculus to students, delivering engaging and effective instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that support student learning and academic growth.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment while proactively addressing student needs and collaborating with colleagues.
- Contribute to the broader school community by working closely with fellow educators and supporting a positive learning environment.
