About The Position
To provide an educational program that meets the educational needs of each student in the teacher’s area of responsibility. The teacher will provide instruction consistent with district and school expectations, communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and staff, and employ strong management practices including planning, record keeping, resource management, and learning environment management. The role also involves ensuring student safety through supervision, assuming professional responsibilities for personal and professional growth, and implementing district goals and objectives. This is a 0.20 FTE position for the 2026/2027 school year.
Requirements
- Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in the assigned subject area.
- Meet district and school expectations for instruction, communication, management, student supervision, and professional responsibilities.
- Be able to implement district goals and objectives.
- Adhere to the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District/Livermore Education Association contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction consistent with district and school expectations that meets the educational needs of all students.
- Communicate with students, parents, administrators, and other staff members.

- Provide student supervision to ensure student safety.
- Assume professional responsibilities and ensure continued personal and professional growth.
- Implement district goals and objectives for certificated teachers.
- Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District/Livermore Education Association contract.
