Math Teacher - Act 89 - Grades 7-12
About The Position
The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) has a need for a Part-Time Math Teacher, working 18-29.5 hours per week with grades 7-12. This position is responsible to plan, provide, and implement skill-based interventions to students that will result in students achieving academic success. The Part-Time Math Teacher will work collaboratively with professional staff to implement a quality math program that meets the needs of students needing intervention by delivering small group instruction within established curriculum guidelines. This position will also be responsible for responding to a wide range of inquiries from student's parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Requirements
- PDE Certification Mathematics 7-12
- Driver's license in your state of residence and reliable transportation
- Acceptable PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal History Clearance and Federal History Clearance
- Complete forms Act 168 for current employer and any previous employer where the applicant worked directly with children.
- Negative TB test within 3 months of receipt of the test results by the IU.
