About The Position

Help students build confidence in math and develop lifelong problem-solving skills! Join Cross Country Education as a Math Teacher and inspire grades 5–6 students to achieve academic success this school year in Glenwood, IL. Deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction that promotes conceptual understanding and academic growth for students in grades 5–6. Develop lessons that encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and confidence in mathematical concepts. Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with school staff and families to support student achievement and promote a positive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Mathematics endorsement

Nice To Haves

• Elementary and/or middle school teaching experience preferred
