About The Position

This position requires a qualified individual to teach mathematics. The role involves establishing positive working relationships, understanding and applying effective teaching principles, and demonstrating knowledge of MTSS and PBIS frameworks. Effective communication and regular attendance are essential.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan teaching certification with Secondary Math (EX or EQ) teaching endorsement.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with teachers, parents, and administrators through professional communication.
• Knowledge and consistent application of the legal and ethical practices.
• Thorough knowledge and application of the principles and methodologies of effective teaching.
• In-depth understanding of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS).
• Thorough understanding of Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS).
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
