About The Position
Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time Math & Science Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has been dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential through individualized learning. With 26 campuses across 11 states, we foster a nurturing, student-centered environment. Our unique teaching model allows educators to focus solely on teaching one student at a time, tailoring lessons to their specific needs and learning styles. We emphasize a gradual release approach to build student confidence and academic success, eliminating the need for lesson planning, parent conferences, or extensive grading. We also offer professional development opportunities to support career growth.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology).
- Patience & Empathy: Understanding that every student learns differently and commitment to supporting them.
- A Heart for Teaching: A genuine passion to share your subject with the next generation.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
