About The Position

Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to teaching math to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through our proprietary Mathnasium Method™. This role offers flexible, part-time hours and all instruction is conducted at the Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development outside of work. This is an excellent opportunity for current teachers, retired teachers, and college students.

Requirements

• Strong math proficiency through calculus.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
• Desire to work through the entire school year.
• Must pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
• Provide work authorization.
• Successfully pass a Background Check.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide math instruction to students in kindergarten through high school.
• Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
• Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center.
