About The Position

We are looking for passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic people who enjoy helping kids. We will teach you everything else you need to know! We are currently looking for energetic and passionate Math Instructors who have a strong math background and be able to work with Jr. HS, and HS students. Must be able to teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and AP-Calculus. Being able to teach SAT/ACT prep courses, and Calculus is a plus. Must have strong communication skills and love to work with children. At this time, we are looking for High School & Jr. HS Math Instructors only. (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I to Pre-Calculus) This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Days and hours will vary but generally afternoon, evenings, and weekends. Requirements

Must be able to teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and AP-Calculus.
Must have strong communication skills and love to work with children.
Must pass a math competency test and background check.
Math proficiency through Pre-Calculus required.
Skilled in math concepts from High School Algebra I to Calculus
Ability to connect with parents and children
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Being able to teach SAT/ACT prep courses, and Calculus is a plus.
Teaching experience and Teaching certificates are preferred but not required.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or math-related subjects is preferred.
Calculus is preferred.
Experience working with children preferred

Responsibilities

Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
