Math Instructor / Tutor
About The Position
At Mathnasium of Crabapple, we are committed to teaching children math so that they understand it, master it, and love it. All necessary curriculum and instructional tools are provided.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
