Carmen Northwest High School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Interventionist who embodies our core values of Empathy, Growth, and Belief. The ideal candidate demonstrates compassion and understanding for students’ diverse experiences, is committed to continuous improvement in their practice, and holds an unwavering belief in every student’s potential to excel. The Interventionist will facilitate engaging, rigorous Tier 2 Math intervention lessons aligned to Carmen’s academic standards while fostering a classroom environment where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged. This role requires using data to inform instruction, differentiating to meet varied learning needs, and building strong relationships with students and families. The Interventionist will collaborate with colleagues, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to a positive school culture that prepares students for success in college, career, and life. This role will also oversee the Learning Commons, ensuring it is a welcoming, organized, and academically focused space that promotes mathematical thinking, problem-solving, independent learning, and student achievement. The Interventionist will support students in developing confidence and proficiency in mathematics while providing targeted interventions that accelerate learning and close achievement gaps.
