Teaching Lab is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming teacher professional learning to improve student outcomes. They partner with educators and leaders to create systems that support these changes. This is a contractor (1099) position starting in August-September 2026, located in Tallahassee, FL. Compensation is based on a day-rate model, with no guaranteed work hours. The role requires deep expertise in curriculum-based professional learning and equitable instructional practice, specifically for secondary (6-8) math educators implementing Eureka Math and/or Illustrative Math curricula. The Program department, where this role sits, focuses on designing, delivering, and improving teacher professional learning programs to drive student achievement. The Facilitator/Coach will facilitate professional learning and provide instructional coaching to educators and school leaders, focusing on high-quality instructional materials and research-based practices. Responsibilities include designing and delivering professional development, providing 1:1 coaching and group learning, building relationships, and supporting data collection. This is an individual contributor role with no management responsibilities, requiring collaboration, adaptability, instructional expertise, and a commitment to advancing excellent teaching and learning.
