About The Position

IXL Learning, a global leader in personalized learning products, is seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join their team as a Math Curriculum Designer. This role focuses on crafting exceptional learning experiences for middle and high school students by leveraging specialized knowledge in K-12 math education. This is a full-time remote position for candidates located in the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a math or related field required
• High school or collegiate math teaching experience, including precalculus, calculus, or statistics
• Excellent writing ability
• Growth mindset with an openness to feedback and others’ ideas
• Highly self-motivated and efficient with superb attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree preferred
• Experience in curriculum development preferred

Responsibilities

• Design clear, engaging, interactive math questions to meet specified educational objectives for kindergarten through calculus, with a focus on 6-12
• Write helpful, age-appropriate, sound explanations of math concepts
• Collaborate with visual designers, other curriculum designers, and company leaders to determine appropriate curricular strategies
• Research and review IXL's alignment to educational standards, common assessments, and popular textbooks
• Develop and manage project plans to create and deliver high-quality math content
• Ensure all project milestones are achieved within set deadlines
