As the Math Competition Program Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how AoPS engages with the academic competition ecosystem, connecting students at every level to the contests and experiences that develop great problem solvers. This role involves defining and maintaining AoPS's approach to encouraging and enabling student participation in important math competitions, and owning the operational execution from campus hosting logistics to cross-team coordination. You will also build and scale systems to track student performance across major external math competitions, use this data to drive program assessment and surface insights, and partner with various teams to plan and execute AoPS's annual contest calendar. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with external contest organizations, represent AoPS in the broader math competition ecosystem, and stay current on its evolution, acting as an internal resource. Over time, you will help shape AoPS's broader role in the academic competition ecosystem, including the evolution of contest preparation sequences, fostering a strong community of contestants, and partnering with established competitions.
