About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate faculty members to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction on its Phoenix campus. This role involves engaging and mentoring students in the fields of IT and Engineering, preparing them for their future careers. Requirements

  • MS in Mathematics with Secondary Education certification, MS in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Teaching Mathematics possessing a secondary education license OR an MS in Physics, MS in Engineering.
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

  • PhD Mathematics with Secondary Education certification

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
