About The Position

Huntington Learning Center is seeking multiple Part-Time Teachers / Tutors in Language Arts, Science, Math, and SAT / ACT Exam Prep. Since 1977, Huntington Learning Center has been making a difference in the lives of children by providing individualized instructional programs and employing devoted professionals. As a Part-Time Teacher / Tutor, your subject expertise and professional presence are key, as the center handles lesson planning, grading, and assessments, allowing you to focus solely on teaching.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• Ready to make a difference in the lives of students and their families
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Basic computer skills
• Open to a flexible part-time schedule, both in-center and/or online

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to Huntington students
• Correct each student's work (answers provided)
• Alert supervisor to any concerns and suggest program changes
• Participate in all scheduled paid teacher meetings
• Observe the signing-in and out of each student
