About The Position
Huntington Learning Center is seeking part-time Math, Chemistry, and Physics Tutors/Instructors to guide students in their ACT and SAT exam prep programs. This role is suitable for candidates from any industry, provided they have a related four-year college degree. The tutors will work in a one-to-one environment using the center's curriculum at their facility. Paid training is provided. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including Monday through Friday and Saturdays.
Requirements
- A related four-year college degree is required.
- Expertise in Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Ability to tutor for ACT/SAT exams.
Nice To Haves
- High School teachers/instructors in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
- College students with a bachelor's degree working in a Master's or Doctorate program.
- Individuals who have been away from the teaching field and wish to re-engage with students.
Responsibilities
- Guide students enrolled in ACT and SAT exam prep programs.
- Teach students in a one-to-one environment using the provided curriculum.
- Provide instruction at the Huntington Learning Center facility.
