About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is seeking an experienced OB/MFM Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine department in an on-call/per diem capacity. The ideal candidate must be ARDMS registered in OB with a passion for high-risk perinatology and have full knowledge of the indications, contraindications, and hazards associated with procedures. This role involves providing diagnostic studies, treatment, and support to high-risk obstetric patients by performing specific diagnostic tests as ordered by providers. The position requires assuring accuracy of test results, reports, and equipment through a thorough understanding of tests and techniques, and the ability to perform a variety of OB procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions, including care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender-affirming treatment. Requirements

  • ARDMS registered in OB required.
  • Graduate of an ARDMS accredited school of ultrasound.
  • Endovaginal scanning skills required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in OB sonography preferred
  • Experienced in high risk OB ultrasounds a bonus
  • Previous experience in an outpatient medical or Perinatology Clinic strongly preferred

Responsibilities
