About The Position

Orlando Health Women’s Institute Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine is seeking a board-certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to join their growing clinical team. The team consists of 12 fellowship-trained perinatologists and two advanced practice clinicians, providing comprehensive services with a multidisciplinary approach, including Neonatologists, Palliative Care Specialists, Pediatric Subspecialists, and Neurologists. The team serves multiple practice locations across Central Florida. Orlando Health and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies have expanded fetal evaluation, care, and therapy services, including prenatal repair of fetal myelomeningocele and fetoscopic procedures for conditions like Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. The MFM physicians serve as attending physicians in various clinical and academic settings, including resident clinics, inpatient services, lectures, grand rounds, journal clubs, and research activities. The role offers dedicated APP support, 24/7 hospitalist OB/GYN support, and an integrated team of sonographers, genetic counselors, diabetic educators, and mental health professionals. The position emphasizes physician autonomy and collaborative decision-making with strong administrative support.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Eligible for active medical licensure in the State of Florida
  • Interest in serving a diverse patient population
  • Interest in working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world class patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with prenatal repair of fetal myelomeningocele
  • Experience with fetoscopic procedures for Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, fetal cystoscopy for bladder outlet obstruction, and modalities to improve amniotic band sequence

Responsibilities

  • Serve as attending physician in High-Risk OB/GYN Resident clinic
  • Provide inpatient coverage
