About The Position

The Materials Technician works in CoxHealth South’s Surgical Supply Services South department. The role requires detailed working knowledge of department functions and responsibility for cleaning, inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and repairs of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation used.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply inventories.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Order and receive supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Store and distribute supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Repair supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
