About The Position

The Materials Technician has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for cleaning, inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and repairs of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation used by the department. The role is based in CoxHealth South’s Surgical Supply Services South department in Springfield, Missouri, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on the evening shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply inventories.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

• Clean supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Order and receive supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Store and distribute supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
