About The Position

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a dedicated Materials Technician to join their Supply Chain Management Department. This full-time, day shift position involves performing various warehouse and storeroom tasks to ensure the smooth flow of supplies and maintain inventory accuracy. The role is crucial in supporting patient care by managing supplies effectively and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
1 Year Relevant experience in materials management strongly preferred
1 Year Customer service experience Preferred
Ability to meet time standards required by position.
Basic computer, reading and writing skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle moderately difficult requests by performing necessary research.

Responsibilities

Performs various Warehouse/Storeroom tasks including receiving, stocking, and filing of delivery paperwork/documents.
Ensures the accuracy of the automated inventory system and assists with the smooth flow of supplies.
Assists with the removal of expired supplies and appropriate documentation.
Ensures the integrity of sterile supplies.
Maintains standards for stocked goods in compliance with regulatory standards (i.e., the Joint Commission).
Assists with required inventories.
Maintains cleanliness of the storeroom.
Works with clinical areas to review par levels or other routine supply issues.
