About The Position

The Supply Chain Management Department at Texas Health Frisco is seeking a dedicated Materials Tech to join their team. This role involves performing various warehouse and storeroom tasks, ensuring accurate receiving and stocking of goods, timely delivery of non-stock items and orders, and maintaining par-level areas. The position also includes customer service responsibilities, such as answering inquiries and assisting clinical areas with supply-related issues. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Ability to meet time standards required by position.
Basic computer, reading and writing skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle moderately difficult requests by performing necessary research.

Nice To Haves

1 year of relevant experience in materials management preferred
1 year of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Performs various Warehouse/Storeroom tasks including receiving, stocking, and filing of delivery paperwork/documents.
Accurately receives goods and/or services into the appropriate system.
Stocks shelves/inventory items daily with incoming goods.
Delivers non-stock items on a timely basis to the requesting department.
Pulls and delivers daily inventory orders and back-order releases to the requested department.
Counts and refills daily par-level areas.
Assists with returning items to the vendor and with shipment of repairs.
Delivers items on the same day the order arrives.
Inspects all items, documenting and reporting damaged goods immediately to the appropriate buyer and/or vendor.
Answers the phone, returns calls, pagers, and assists departments with questions, concerns, and special requests.
Works with clinical areas to review par levels or other routine supply issues.
