About The Position

The Materials Supervisor will participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions. This role will lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list in order to achieve targeted RCR. The supervisor will assist in the overall efficiency of the operation of the plant by monitoring inventories, assisting in the efficient scheduling of personnel, and reconciling inventory going to and from production on a daily basis. Responsibilities also include inspecting inbound carriers to minimize loss of damages, monitoring operations to ensure inventory is properly handled in loading and unloading, and conducting monthly physical inventories. The role involves investigating and approving all invoices for warehouse and production supplies, optimizing the warehouse footprint, and assisting with the department budget. Additionally, the Materials Supervisor will provide leadership to the Warehouse staff, including performance management, employee development, and training. This position will partner with business leaders on the implementation of process improvement through our Kraft Heinz Management Systems (KHMS), including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in warehouse and shipping functions in a manufacturing environment, managing union team members over three shifts
  • Knowledge of GMP and safe work practices
  • Proficient knowledge in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Supervisory leadership in materials warehouse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate and follow through
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient MRP competency
  • Inventory control discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a Management related field preferred
  • MRP experience preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Certified Train the Trainer for forklift
