Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of EDI, DDL, and bar-coding systems.
PC skills, customer packaging/labeling requirements.

Responsibilities

Supervise, motivate, and evaluate department personnel.
Ensure personnel training meets company guidelines and is conducted in a timely manner.
Schedule shipments of finished products ensuring all meet scheduled dock times for on-time delivery to customer.
Inventory and audit all existing materials and finished goods to ensure inventory turnover is being maintained and physical counts match computer system.
Oversee processes and security to ensure flow of materials meets delivery to manufacturing processes.
Ensures maintenance of equipment is being performed and that all equipment is kept in safe operating condition.
Review and/or investigate all incidents involving Material Department personnel.
Other duties as assigned by the Material Control Manager.
