As a Material Supervisor at our Hunt Valley, MD facility, you will serve as a key leader within the workcell materials team. You will oversee daily supply chain activities, implement materials strategies, and ensure production is supported through accurate planning and execution. Acting as the primary customer interface for materials‑related issues, you will drive performance, resolve challenges, and continuously improve processes and metrics to support operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–3 years of related experience in materials, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • cGMP experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Direct the Materials workcell team to ensure all material planning and production planning activities align with department and workcell objectives.
  • Manage all day‑to‑day supply chain activities for the production workcell.
  • Develop and coordinate implementation of workcell‑specific materials strategies and initiatives.
  • Execute materials and workcell strategies to support operational and customer goals.
  • Develop team understanding of performance metrics and ensure objectives are achieved or exceeded.
  • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement of materials processes and metrics.
  • Investigate root causes of line‑down situations and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of critical data within ERP/business systems.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for all materials‑related issues, including demand management and quoting coordination.
  • Partner closely with the Warehouse Manager and DEA Custodian to maintain clean, compliant, and organized storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, where applicable.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
