Requirements

Associate degree in a business-related field or equivalent technical experience, with high school diploma or GED
Within the past eight (8) years, must have three (3+) years of supervisory experience or successful completion of a supervisor training course
One (1) year material control experience in an industrial or military environment
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance.

Responsibilities

Directs Materials personnel in all aspects of service work, shipping, receiving, and delivering site materials and equipment.
Manages the site's spare materials inventory to support plant operations.
Ensures compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements through diligent auditing and material control.
Develops and implements MRO policies and procedures.
Supervises and trains personnel.
Oversees inventory control functions such as trend analysis and reorder point establishment.
Coordinates inventory counts.
Ensures a safe, efficient, and inclusive work environment.
Has the authority to stop work for safety.
Is accountable for the safety of all materials personnel activities.
Manages departmental budgets.
Evaluates staff performance.
