About The Position

The Materials Superintendent participates in projects that influence the direction of the operation, manages multiple and competing demands in the area of functional responsibility and the organization, and ensures compliance to formal policies and procedures. This role monitors trends and establishes actions for improvement, provides supervision for positions within the SCM Coordinator job category, and manages 3 Material Supervisors and 60 hourly employees. The Materials Superintendent relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals for a single unit with multiple customers and products, and utilizes advanced analytical problem-solving skills to determine the root cause of issues and proposes/oversees implementation of corrective action.

Requirements

• 4 – 6 years of Supply Change Management experience
• Broad based supply chain management and process development knowledge
• Strong leadership / planning / negotiation / problem solving / delegation and presentation skills
• PC software knowledge & skills
• Strong financial skills
