About The Position
The Materials Superintendent participates in projects that influence the direction of the operation, manages multiple and competing demands in the area of functional responsibility and the organization, and ensures compliance with formal policies and procedures. This role monitors trends and establishes actions for improvement, provides supervision for positions within the SCM Coordinator job category, and manages 3 Material Supervisors and 60 hourly employees. The position requires advanced analytical problem-solving skills to determine the root cause of issues and proposes and oversees the implementation of corrective action. The role relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals for a single unit with multiple customers and products.
Requirements
- 4 – 6 years of Supply Change Management experience
- Broad based supply chain management and process development knowledge
- Strong leadership / planning / negotiation / problem solving / delegation and presentation skills
- PC software knowledge & skills
- Strong financial skills
