About The Position

Under the supervision of the Stores & Transportation Supervisor, this role performs a variety of tasks related to the proper processing and handling of aircraft parts and materials within the Materials Department. The position is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Good writing and communication skills
Valid vehicle driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Warehousing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Compliance with all regulatory requirements, the GMM, Standard Operating Procedures of the Materials Department, Safety Guidelines, and SOX404 as required.
Proper storage of materials.
Inventory accuracy.
Processing complete packets of export/import documents and placing bookings with freight broker(s)/carrier(s).
Cargo planning based upon mode of transportation (Air/Ocean/Multimodal).
Maintaining close communication and coordination with customers, overseas broker agents, and warehouse staff.
Adhering to complete shipping instructions based upon customer agreements.
Consolidating packages destined for specific customers according to department procedures.
Recording all information on incoming/outgoing shipments/issues/credits of aircraft parts, supplies, hardware, etc.
Protecting and preserving all assets of the company against damage, corrosion, contamination, etc.
Adhering to the company's Shelf Life Management Program.
Maintaining qualification on the proper handling of hazardous material items.
Responding to expediting requests for Helicopter AOG parts and materials.
Complying with all shipping/receiving/store policies and procedures.
Maintaining a safe, up-to-date vehicle driving record and license.
Acting as a problem solver/decision maker.
Performing other duties as assigned.
