About The Position

Radiance Technologies is searching for a talented, experienced Materials Scientist to join our team. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent technical skills to research and develop tools and techniques to support materials programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field.
Active TS/SCI
5+ years of documentable technical experience
Conducting research and analysis on structures and systems to characterize integrated materials
Designing and devising testing methods
Experience with nondestructive inspection experimental methods.
Experience with modeling composite material response and/or material signal interactions using analytical or numerical approaches.
Characterization and analysis of materials to support the assessment of system and subsystems
Research and analysis of supply chain to determine sources of supply for materials.

Nice To Haves

Develops new testing methods and capabilities using lab based experimental skills including running and programming hardware, experiment design
Experience with nondestructive inspection experimental methods.
Experience with modeling composite material response and/or material signal interactions using finite element, analytical or numerical approaches.
