About The Position

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash focused on exploring robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics. This role is for a Materials Program Manager with strong relevant experience to own planning and material readiness in this field. The individual will need an analytical mindset, creativity, and vision to tackle current and future challenges. This is a highly visible role where the Materials Program Manager is expected to work hands-on with cross-functional teams to build supply chain models for CTB (“clear to build”), provide clear visibility on sourcing strategies, and actualize data across supplier, manufacturing, and deployment sites to drive commercial success. The Materials Program Manager will report to the Director of Hardware and Manufacturing Strategic Sourcing on the Sourcing team within the Autonomy organization.

Requirements

7+ years of materials readiness experience in consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and or AI projects.
MBA or Masters in an analytical field with significant experience in CTB with vendors in the consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and/or AI space.
Strong communication and presentations skills to lead and organize efforts.
Sharp attention to detail and believe no task is too big or too small.

Responsibilities

Build CTB for a wide breadth of commodities from fasteners all the way to finished robots at the system level.
Create demand and supply plan models and track performance of sourcing strategies to monitor and improve effectiveness of supply chain.
Dive deep into issues, breakdown problems, and drive the team towards results.
Actualize data across our sites for material readiness, inventory management, and excess & obsolescence and provide strategic recommendations as our needs evolve.
Work hands-on and support a world-class team of engineers and business leaders.
