About The Position

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash focused on exploring robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics. This role is for a Materials Program Manager with strong experience in planning and material readiness within the robotics and automation field. The individual will be responsible for building supply chain models for CTB (clear to build), providing visibility on sourcing strategies, and managing data related to suppliers, manufacturing, and deployment sites to drive commercial success. The Materials Program Manager will report to the Director of Hardware and Manufacturing Strategic Sourcing.

Requirements

7+ years of materials readiness experience in consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and or AI projects.
MBA or Masters in an analytical field with significant experience in CTB with vendors in the consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and/or AI space.
Strong communication and presentations skills to lead and organize efforts.
Sharp attention to detail and believe no task is too big or too small.

Responsibilities

Build CTB for a wide breadth of commodities from fasteners all the way to finished robots at the system level.
Create demand and supply plan models and track performance of sourcing strategies to monitor and improve effectiveness of supply chain.
Dive deep into issues, breakdown problems, and drive the team towards results.
Actualize data across our sites for material readiness, inventory management, and excess & obsolescence and provide strategic recommendations as our needs evolve.
Work hands-on and support a world-class team of engineers and business leaders.
