About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join Nature’s Bakery team as a Material Planner. This role involves both material planning and supply chain management to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning material requirements, understanding production schedules, and inventory management to meet operational needs.

Requirements

Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control, and material management.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP S4) and MRP software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Work closely with cross-functional teams to use forecasted finished goods needs and create the material plan using lead times and inventory levels.
Analyze and manage material requirements to ensure uninterrupted production.
Create and maintain MRP reports to track material requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, manage lead times, and maintain a reliable supplier base.
Ensure the timely availability of materials required for production by coordinating with manufacturing and logistics teams.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring supplier performance, market trends, and disruptions in the supply chain forecast.
Work to optimize inventory levels, ensuring the availability of materials without overstocking.
Use data to improve accuracy and reduce waste.
Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule, adjusting material requirements as needed.
Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely sourcing of materials at competitive costs.
Address and resolve any supply chain issues, such as delays, shortages, or excess stock, with proactive solutions.
