Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma and/or equivalent college or university education
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Excel is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) would be advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Use of ERP to create master schedule sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders for the assigned production department.
  • Monitor the production process and determine the status of assigned schedules.
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  • Effect changes to the production schedule to ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • Prepare production reports.
  • Ensure customer demands are satisfied while avoiding premium shipments.
  • Communicate inefficiencies and/or bottlenecks to the appropriate Manager or Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all company policies are maintained.
  • Ensure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties.
  • Ensure that all safety requirements are being carried out when performing duties.
  • Comply with defined Business Management and Environmental Management Systems requirements.
  • Provide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Techform.
  • Provide support in the attainment of Techform's operating system goals as outlined by the key graphs.
  • Carry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate.
