DESCRIPTION: Join our collaborative team as a Materials Planner III, Supply Chain, where you'll contribute to optimizing our supply chain operations. You'll develop and execute strategic material requirements plans while ensuring optimal inventory levels across our network. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll balance customer service levels with working capital objectives to support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This position offers opportunities to lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the success of an organization in serving science.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree plus 1 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, materials management, or procurement in a manufacturing environmen or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE) and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Experience with MRP concepts and inventory management principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and principles
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within defined parameters
  • Project management experience with continuous improvement initiatives
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future, without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification beneficial
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environment (cGMP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic material requirements plans
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels across our network
  • Balance customer service levels with working capital objectives
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain material planning parameters (safety stocks, lead times, order quantities)
  • Conduct supply planning meetings with key stakeholders
  • Analyze and report on key metrics (material readiness, lead times)
