Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 12+ years of experience in materials management within high-tech electronics manufacturing
  • Proven experience managing electronic component supply chains, including semiconductors and PCB assemblies
  • Background with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced planning tools
  • Experience working in global supply chains with contract manufacturers (EMS)
  • Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC), data center hardware, or server/storage product supply chains
  • APICS/CPIM/CSCP certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead materials planning, procurement, and inventory control for electronic components (turnkey and consigned)
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain activities to support high-mix, low-to-medium volume production environments
  • Drive Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and demand forecasting processes to ensure material availability and production continuity
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical and constrained electronic components
  • Partner with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and distributors to ensure continuity of supply, especially for long lead-time and allocation-driven components
  • Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including shortages, obsolescence, and lifecycle challenges (EOL/PCN management)
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction), and operations teams to support product launches and transitions
  • Optimize inventory levels while balancing service levels and working capital targets
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
