About The Position

To assist in operating a storeroom and a par level system in a neat, efficient manner and to maintain good inventory control while supplying the hospital effectively on a day to day basis.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in receiving, stocking, and inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews standard amounts of supplies (par levels) and makes recommendations to Materials Manager for increases and decreases in inventory.
• Performs distribution function daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.
• Performs patient charge function.
• Rotates stock to contribute to better patient care and prevent outdated stock.
• Maintains a clean and organized storeroom.
