About The Position
We are seeking a Materials Management Manager to join our team at San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Fresno, CA. This is a 62-bed acute rehab hospital providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities. We help patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities to return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Verbal ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff required.
- Minimum three (3) years of previous hospital materials management experience required, with increasing managerial level responsibility in materials or related field.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for organizing and managing the day-to-day Materials Management needs and operations for the facility.
- Researches purchasing options, monitors inventory, orders supplies, receives and disburses shipments and deliveries, and directs and recommends purchases within designated purchasing group organizations.
