About The Position

Ensure ordering, receiving and distribution of supplies for Hospital while maintaining professional relationships with department, vendors and customers. Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three to five years experience in materials management
• Some supervisory experience
• Hospital setting experience preferred

• Bachelor degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assure inventory of supplies is available to meet the needs of our customers.
• Anticipate needs for routine and special order items.
• Assist internal customers in “shopping” for necessary services, supplies, and capital equipment needs in most cost effective and efficient ways possible.
• Develop a budget and operate department in compliance with budget.
• Assist in purchase decisions and coordinate major plans such as furniture and other equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
