About The Position

Rennscot MFG is looking for a highly organized Materials Management Coordinator to help ensure the right materials are available at the right time. In this role, you'll support purchasing, inventory, supplier coordination, and production scheduling while working closely with teams across the organization to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in materials coordination, purchasing, inventory management, shipping/receiving, or a related manufacturing support role.
  • Experience with an inventory management or ERP system is required.
  • Experience with daily Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight and small parcel shipping and receiving is required.
  • Prior experience safely operating a forklift is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new business systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a company vehicle for local supplier pickups and deliveries as needed.
  • To conform to US Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the US Department of State.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or supply chain experience in a production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage purchase orders and inventory transactions in ProShop ERP.
  • Monitor supplier deliveries and expedite materials when needed.
  • Track inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and help maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate material availability to support production schedules.
  • Work with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Accounting to resolve material issues.
  • Pick up materials, tooling, or components from local suppliers and outside processing vendors as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and material flow.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other supply chain projects.
