About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our S&S Materials Management and Transportation team in Auburn, Washington or Puyallup, Washington. The successful candidate is self-motivated driven person who can manage and integrate employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. Specifically in the delivery customer service role. You should be able to develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of team members and lead process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply chain and/or Materials Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to influence senior leaders, present complex technical/organizational matters clearly, and lead high-stakes discussions
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
  • The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years leading critical projects
  • 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Supplier Management, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 5 + years of experience with materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with safety and quality processes
  • Aerospace or manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification
