About The Position

Join the team at Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center and play a key role in supporting a fast-paced aviation operation. We’re seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and experienced professional to lead critical inventory planning and procurement activities. In this role, you’ll manage reorder point planning (ROP), buying, and sourcing while proactively analyzing and optimizing inventory levels for Military Center of Excellence (MECoE) operations. This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in warehouse or production control environment, receiving inspection or within a materials management organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP systems for inventory control and production tracking

Responsibilities

  • Manage reorder point planning (ROP) purchase orders from creation through completion
  • Monitor inventory and supplier performance, resolve material and paperwork issues, and drive delivery assurance with vendors
  • Support daily purchasing activities including issuing kits/bins, creating buy orders, reviewing QMR concerns, and assisting with quotes
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders to support reporting requirements, projects, and continuous process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with standard work, purchasing policies, procedures, and operational processes
