About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and training employees on MAXIMO, collaborating with various departments to improve workflow, coordinating chemical orders, managing inventories, and supporting daily operations in the storeroom. The specialist will receive chemical shipments and supplies into MAXIMO, issue commodities, and perform other duties as assigned. The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Minimum education High School Diploma
• Experience in inventory management and order management.
• Proficient use of MAXIMO to troubleshoot problems.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize requests made by various departments, including expediting materials and emergency shipments.
• Good leadership ability, including strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, includes ability to train and mentor direct reports.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Possesses an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Help Develop and Train employees to use MAXIMO.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, Requisitioners, Stores Clerks, and Accounts Payable to solve problems and improve PM/MM workflow.
• Coordinate with Operations & Purchasing to order Chemical shipments.
• Prepare freight RTVs for shipment to vendors.
• Complete daily, weekly, & monthly inventories and reconcile as necessary.
• Support daily Operations in the Storeroom.
• Receive all chemical shipments (truck and rail) into MAXIMO.
• Receive shipping supplies and PM clothing into MAXIMO.
• Issue commodities to appropriate GLs as directed by the Comptroller at month end.
