About The Position

The Materials & Inventory Analyst supports the accuracy and day-to-day efficiency of materials and inventory processes at the assigned AGRU America facility. This role focuses on routine inventory tracking, data entry, cycle counting, and reporting under the guidance of the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst, and provides an opportunity to build the analytical and process knowledge needed to progress toward more advanced materials and inventory analysis work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
0–2 years of experience in materials handling, inventory, warehouse, or a related support role
Basic proficiency in Excel and comfort learning ERP/WMS systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow established procedures, prioritize routine tasks, and work well under the direction of the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
manufacturing environment experience a plus.
prior ERP/WMS exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cycle counts and assist with the annual physical inventory, recording and reconciling results under supervision.
Track inventory levels, materials flow, and usage data, and flag variances or discrepancies to the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst.
Enter and maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within the ERP/WMS system.
Assist in preparing standard inventory reports and dashboards (e.g., inventory accuracy, turns, slow-moving inventory) for review by the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst.
Support investigation of inventory discrepancies by gathering data and documentation for root-cause review.
Help maintain organized, accurate documentation for materials handling and inventory control procedures.
Assist with warehouse and stockroom organization, labeling, and slotting as directed.
Prepare, review, and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy of quantities, item descriptions, and shipping documentation.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse staff on routine materials questions and follow-up items.
Participate in materials and inventory improvement projects in a support capacity, carrying out assigned tasks and data collection.
Follow established inventory practices in compliance with company policy, financial controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
