This role is responsible for the storage, pull ticket process, and issuance of raw materials to the shop floor, as well as the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies. The position also supports material handling with forklift needs.

Requirements

  • Must be Forklift Qualified
  • Knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia).
  • Microsoft office software such as Excel and Word.
  • Must be Forklift Certified
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English is required to ensure effective communication, comprehension of work instructions, and accurate documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of crating.

Responsibilities

  • Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), and assembles job skids with these items.
  • Drives a box truck from warehouse to Amesbury facility with kit-ups and other material for production.
  • Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures.
  • Sorts recently received items and places them in their designated storage areas.
  • Performs material handling procedures in a safe and effective manner operating motorized forklifts throughout the factory to move materials from staged/receiving areas to storage or point-of-use locations.
  • Loads the Munters Shuttle Box truck with Kit-up Materials for delivery to Munters Amesbury, MA Assembly Cells.
  • Maintains stockroom areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Picks, pulls, and packages/crates outgoing shipments.
  • Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments.
  • Performs or assists with any operations as required to maintain workflow and meet schedules and quality requirements.
  • Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Consistently operates in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
  • Participates in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain knowledge of new developments, requirements, and policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
