About The Position

This role is responsible for transporting products and materials throughout the facility using various methods including manual labor, forklifts, overhead lifts/cranes, and push carts. The position involves maintaining accurate records of all parts handled, performing cycle counts, assisting with physical inventory, and loading picked orders onto trailers according to specifications. Additionally, the role includes unloading, moving, stacking, and staging customer products and materials while keeping appropriate records.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 70lbs.
Ability to do other duties as assigned.
Ability to carry objects; perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching; and frequent bending and twisting of the torso.
Ability to pass forklift certification written exam and driving demonstration.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree in any field.
1 to 3 years consistent work experience.
Prior forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Transport products and materials throughout the facility both manually and using forklifts, overhead lifts/cranes and push carts.
Maintain record of all parts going to/from the racks.
Count, weigh and record number of material units handled.
Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventory assessments.
Load picked orders onto trailer according to specifications and sequence, and complete appropriate paperwork.
Unload, move, stack and stage customer products and materials by hand and with motorized equipment, keeping appropriate records.
