About The Position

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to join its warehouse team in Addison, Texas. The position is on second shift and involves receiving, staging, validating, storing, and pulling products using material-handling equipment. The role also includes general warehouse housekeeping and following safety procedures. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack and use a computer operating system to track inventory.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Prior warehouse or receiving experience.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position regularly.
• Ability to constantly operate machinery and handle products, including print materials.
• Ability to frequently move inside the facility.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry 25+ pounds.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using various material-handling equipment.
• Prepare and break down inbound shipments for accuracy validation.
• Put products away in their correct locations using material-handling equipment.
• Accurately pull orders using paper or electronic orders and material-handling equipment.
• Operate an electric pallet jack and/or related material-moving equipment to designated areas.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Follow safety procedures when operating equipment and performing job duties.
