About The Position

This role involves the safe movement of materials within a facility, utilizing forklifts and other equipment. The position requires issuing and receiving materials for job orders and inventory, as well as picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. Responsibilities also include building crates and pallets, performing daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with freight carriers, and adhering to all safety procedures. Training will initially occur in Madera before transitioning to Visalia, with mileage reimbursement provided for training travel. The candidate must have reliable transportation for training and be able to pass a background and drug screen. The hiring process includes a phone or virtual interview followed by an onsite interview.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations
• Forklift experience required
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read and understand drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions
• Experience with inventory control and storeroom procedures
• Familiarity with shipping software (e.g., UPS) and freight carriers
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and packaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation for training

• Crane/rigging experience a plus

Responsibilities
