About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Material Handler to join our team located in Winnebago, IL. This position is part of a team responsible for moving finished goods around and out of the facility in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• A high school degree, or equivalent.
• Ability to work 8 hours, Monday – Friday, from 10:45 pm - 7:15 am.
• Good reading ability, including the ability to read and understand packaging layouts.
• Good computer proficiency with the ability to use a variety of systems.
• Good detail orientation.
• Ability to be certified on and to operate forklifts.
• Ability to perform the physical functions of the job, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock finished goods and pull customer orders.
• Scan finished goods when received, stocked, moved, and shipped.
• Record/print inventory activity information.
• Enter and print shipping documentation.
• Load trucks with packaged finished goods.
• Assist with packaging finished goods, as necessary
• Adhere to established standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
